ColorScheme Explorer is developed by Sayed Amaan Ali and published by Shifa Studios. This Privacy Policy explains how ColorScheme Explorer ("the App") handles information when you use it.
ColorScheme Explorer does not require an account, registration, or login.
Most information handled by the App is processed locally on your device. This includes color selections and manually entered color values, theme preferences, and generated color scheme data used for copying, exporting, and sharing.
These preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
When you choose the Dynamic Color option, the App may access the Material You color scheme provided by the Android operating system. This allows the App to display colors derived by Android from your system wallpaper and personalization settings.
The App does not access or upload your wallpaper image.
ColorScheme Explorer uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how the App is used and to improve its functionality.
The App sends predefined, app-specific events related to app launches, in-app update prompts, color source configuration, color scheme variants, theme mode changes, layout changes, palette exports, and onboarding completion.
These events are used to understand feature usage, measure adoption, and improve the App. The App does not use a user-defined Analytics user ID.
ColorScheme Explorer uses Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to identify, diagnose, and fix crashes and other technical failures.
When an error or crash is reported, Crashlytics may receive technical information such as exception and error information, stack traces, relevant application and device information, app version and build number, technical class and method information, and developer-defined technical diagnostic context.
The App does not intentionally send user-entered personal information to Crashlytics and does not use a user account ID or personally assigned user identifier for crash reporting.
The App allows you to copy color values and generated color scheme code to your device's clipboard.
The App can also generate files containing your color scheme and provide them through the Android system share sheet.
Generated exports are created locally on your device. Temporary files used for sharing are stored in the App's temporary storage.
When you choose to share an export, the Android operating system and the application you select to receive the content are responsible for handling that shared content.
ColorScheme Explorer does not provide account creation or login and does not intentionally collect your name, contact information, precise location, contacts, photos, camera data, microphone or audio data, financial information, passwords, or authentication credentials.
The App uses third-party services that may process technical or usage information as part of providing their services.
These services include Google Firebase Analytics for usage analytics and feature measurement, Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and technical diagnostics, and Google Play services for supported in-app updates.
These third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Information stored directly by the App, such as preferences and locally generated data, remains on your device until it is deleted by the App, cleared through Android settings, or otherwise removed from the device.
Temporary export files are intended for short-term use during sharing and are stored in the App's temporary or cache storage.
Analytics and crash-reporting data collected through Firebase is retained and processed by Google according to the applicable Firebase and Google retention policies and service configuration.
You may remove locally stored App data by clearing the App's storage through Android system settings or by uninstalling the App.
We take reasonable measures to limit the collection of information and to use information only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
ColorScheme Explorer is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its features, data practices, or applicable requirements change.
When changes are made, we will update the effective date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
